Travel & hospitality

AI calling for travel agencies, tour operators and hotels

Holiday enquiries arrive in bulk from ads, and not every one is a trip. Telleo calls each enquiry to learn dates, destination, group size and budget, confirms bookings before arrival, and calls guests after their stay.

  3. AI agentWhat time do you expect to reach the resort on the 14th?
  4. CallerAround eleven at night. Our flight lands late.

  6. CallerYes, please. We're four people with a lot of luggage.
  7. AI agentI'll ask our travel desk to arrange a larger car and share the fare with you on WhatsApp. Is there anything else we should know, like a special occasion?

  9. AI agentThank you for telling us, I've noted it for the front desk. Would you like them to call you to plan something for the evening?

The phone problem

Where calls slip in travel & hospitality

01

Not every enquiry is a trip

Ads bring enquiries from people still dreaming about a holiday. Consultants spend the day finding the ones with dates and a budget.

02

Travellers decide fast

Before a long weekend or school holidays, travellers book with whoever comes back first with a clear plan. A callback the next day can be too late.

03

Confirmation calls pull staff from guests

Hotels call to confirm arrival times and special requests. It is routine work for a front desk that is also checking guests in.

04

Complaints show up online first

Without a call after checkout, you may hear about a bad stay only in an online review.

What Telleo does

The calls your AI agents make

Call new holiday enquiries

Ad and website enquiries get a call within about a minute, inside the hours you set.

Instant lead callback

Qualify the trip

Destination, dates, number of travellers, budget, hotel category and whether flights are needed. Qualified trips go to a consultant with the call summary.

Lead qualification

Booking confirmations

Before arrival or departure, the agent confirms dates, arrival time and special requests, and notes any changes for your team.

Event confirmation

Guest feedback after the stay

A short call after checkout asks for a rating and what could have been better. Low scores go to the manager.

Feedback surveys

Re-engage past enquiries and guests

Call past enquiries and guests who have consented to hear from you when a new package launches or a season opens, and pass the interested ones to a consultant.

Day one

A first rollout

  1. 1

    Connect enquiry forms

Link Meta and Google lead forms and your website form. Import past enquiries by CSV.

  2. 2

    Describe your packages

Add destinations, inclusions, seasons and starting prices to the script, and tell the agent to leave custom itineraries to consultants.

  3. 3

    Route qualified trips

Assign trips with dates and a budget to consultants round-robin. Keep 'just browsing' leads aside, and include them in a later re-engagement campaign only if they have consented to be contacted.

  4. 4

    Add confirmations and feedback

Import upcoming arrivals and recent checkouts as CSV files, or push them by webhook from your booking system, and run the calls in set windows.

Be careful with

  • The agent does not make or change reservations or take payments. It confirms details and passes changes to your team, or to your system by webhook.
  • Prices and availability change daily. Keep the agent to starting prices and inclusions, and let consultants quote the final price.
  • Language is set per agent. Use an English agent for guests who do not speak Hindi.
  • DLT registration is required for commercial calling in India. Telleo registers it with you, and you choose the calling hours.

Travel & hospitality: common questions

Can the agent build an itinerary on the call?+

No. It collects dates, destination, group size and budget so your consultant can build the itinerary. It can describe the packages you put in its script.

Can guests call the hotel and reach the agent?+

Yes, through an IVR menu option on a Telleo line. The agent can take a confirmation or an enquiry and transfer the caller to the front desk when needed.

Can it send the booking voucher or itinerary?+

It can send documents or links on WhatsApp using your approved templates, when the guest agrees on the call. It does not create vouchers itself.

Does it work with our hotel or travel software?+

Not natively. Anything that can send or receive a webhook can connect: arrivals and enquiries in, outcomes out. CSV import works for everything else.

Which languages can it speak?+

English, Hindi and Hinglish are in production. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and other Indian languages are supported by the voice engines and set up with you on request.
